I’m not sure Team17 will let us to just add stuff from the other games, but we can look into implementing custom landscapes, and make those file formats importable.

  3. An option in the mapeditor where u can choose a point where the worms placement will be, maybe with a zoom option for tight places. There should be a few option for the placement with the marked point, for example:

    • Placement at the marked point not stacked

-Placement at the marked point pile without stacked (*)

(*) like u let fall a worm of another worm so they are piled but not stacked

  5. I think that water colours other than blue should be re-enabled. The game should detect the names of the folders that are in the Water folder, and use the "Water.dir" file from whichever one is selected.

  6. Sometimes i just wish there would be a little more going on in the maps...
What if the game would support a new file format in which these maps would be?
So, you would just make/import and play them.

I was thinking about the following:
-Destructible, non-desctructible terrain, i just think this could open some new ideas.

-Animated terrain. For ex. elevators or any other animation. This would bring more life to maps, would further open ideas for custom maps and would make it more fun the 'future real time feature...'

-Terrain that kills the worms, for example spikes...

    -Transparency,…

  7. The idea is that the player could create own texture in worms armageddon and use it later.
Is it possible to do something like that?

  9. Make it so you could generate for example snow, hell etc game landcape textures for huge maps too, instead of the game asking for it to be shrink or cropped

  10. for example you can associate a zone where pieces of map can be moving like elevators (up/down) or platforms (left/right). In the editor maps you can cut some terrain's pieces and you can decide moves (obvioulsy limited moves). Think to play BnG with elevators! Do you remember super mario' maps? almost like that. see ya

  11. My idea is similar with "multi layer" idea but. The idea is: we have 2 pictures for 1 map. First one is ordinary WA map, shopper for example. Second one is kinda "materials" map that should have different colors for different materials. For example yellow means undestructable material, blue is kinda ice, green is sort of glass, that breaks etc.etc. And if there is only 1 map picture, then it defaults to standart WA map.

  12. Caveshoppers are popular in TUS atm (shopper maps in the WA level editor by editing a cave). It's nice to have a few objects in them, but quite often the objects are blocking paths or are in other undesirable places. It would be nice to be able to remove objects that are messing the map up, while maintaining those that are nicely placed.
And possibly... be able to add/move/replace objects.

  13. It would be very handy if there was a way for map makers to set the starting position of the mouse on a map. Especially for such maps as big rope race and other large maps.

It can be tedious if you cant find the start of a map in time, which can have you end up having to restart the game if you cant find it on time.

Some maps work around this by putting the start in the exact center but this can be difficult to achieve and may not be ideal at all in some cases.

  15. From interview with T17 about WMD as e-sports:
"Maybe we would explore that and maybe we take a leaf out of Team Fortress’ book and have the map symmetrical so everyone gets a fair advantages."
Therefore this suggestion to WA: ability to mirror (one side of a) random map, as to make a map that is identical on both sides.

Could be nice for schemes like elite.. or just to have an easy way of creating a fort-like map out of maps that aren't designed to be.

  16. When making a map, you have to go through the hassle of making the background solid 0,0,0 black and having to dither it to 113 colors. It would be very useful if you could make it so you can just import any PNG without having to do that, and having WA do all the dithering and stuff for you. Would also be very useful to make it so you can have a transparent background PNG work instead of solid 0,0,0 black background as well.
