Being able to shoot rope either direction from Para
in Worms 2, when parachute is activated, you could choose which way you shoot your rope, by using the left/right arrows +space..... the angle of the rope was the same as originally shot rope, just like in w:a... but for some reason this feature was disabled when w:a came out... can we bring it back?? will add another level of skill to the game, also: wont have plops in ttrr due to unlucky winds

A built-in wormpedia in the game
For example most of newbies struggling to understand WA schemes like Shopper, WxW etc. when they join WormNET for the first time. Not everyone knows about WKB. A wormpedia in WA that explaing stuffs like this in several languages would be nice.

More weapon customization, like in fiddler or worms2.
PLEASE make it so you can customize weapons like in worms2 or fiddler, if you make even more customization, i will be even happier! Also, here's a question, you are still working on 4.0, right?...

In-game Manual
Since you rejected both WKB integration and Wormopedia, you're leaving new players in the dark. Why not give access to the manual in-game? That way, you can attract more new players and make them pros much faster.

Worms Forts: Under Seige-style Schemes
This would make fort games much better. These options would be the same as Worms Forts, but with these changes.
1. Add all the options currently in the game
2. Scheme creators pick the look of the buildings
3. Two sides at maximum (Due to the limitations of 2D graphics)
4. Scheme creators pick which weapon would require which building

Option to disable Worms Speeches in Game
Worms speeches in Games can be very annoying.
Please make an Option that we can disable Worms speeches,
but let Rope/Weapon Effects enabled.1 vote -
Place all the worms of your team automatically with the first one (for Races schemes or CTF)
You have to place just the first worm, and all your worms of the team are placed there. Useful for races scheme like TTRR, Big RR, Bungee Race, etc. Even CTF. Could be an option in the host lobby like /ap (auto place). This is different than to mark an area on the map editor or something. Every player choose where to put their entire team.

Improved netplay for better matchmaking experience
Usually when we play on wormnet or local and one of the players get disconnected or desync appears due bad connection which one of those happens for many reasons, then this player can't join back to the game, this is not good.
I have several ideas.
1. Better synchronization of the netplay code, also when one of the players gets dropped game automatically to pause up for some amount of time which host defined to give opportunity to the player to rejoin again.
2. If player do not get back after that period of time, then cpu takes his place.…3 votes -

More retreat time settings
Retreat time settings specific for:
1 - Jet Pack (seconds and fuel)
2 - Parachute (seconds)
3 - Rope (seconds)
4 - Bungee (seconds)
5 - Drop-and-Run weapons [dynamite, mine, etc] (seconds; this way it will not be always 5sec)1 vote -
Integrate all of the content from Worms 2 and Worms World Party into Version 5.0 or future
Though it's probably asking for a bit much and not something you care to work on, I think it'd be awesome if all of Worms 2 and Worms World Party could be integrated into Version 5.0 or further, so that the entire Worms Triple Pack would use a single binary and the updated engine. And possibly convincing Team 17 to re-release the Worms Triple Pack on Steam.

Use higher quality music from PS1 version of game
The Steam version of the game and even the accompanying FLAC soundtrack includes the awful quality music from the original PC version, with a sample rate of only 16 kHz! The music from the PS1 version is full CD quality (44.1 kHz) and sounds much better. The .WAV files in the DATA\Streams folder of the Steam version of the game can be replaced with the .WAV files from the PS1 disc image without problems.
Why not include the higher quality music files with the Steam version?

Worms 2 campaign in Worms Armageddon for owners of Worms 2
There are a bunch of missions in Worms 2, and for those who own it, it'd be great to play it in an updated engine such as Worms Armageddon 4.x

Full log
It would be great to have a everything been logged.
Lobby activity, map changes, etc.
For example i really need to see what map changes my opponent did.
If hoster changes a game parameters (terrain type, map, complexity) i want to see that in a game log after the game.
Because now its impossible to track if hoster abuses his power to change game parameters to his advantage on my move.5 votes -
Allow locking the Weapons Menu
We should be able to "lock" i.e. "PIN" the Weapons Menu in place so that we can see all the weapons all the time or till we decide to hide it again.

Extended soundbanks/Multiple soundfiles for 1 reaction.
When sound hunting in a movie or video game clips, it often happens we have to pick among a couple clips for 1 reaction. It would be nice if we could put more than 1 clip for 1 reaction.
Example:
KAMIKAZE(1).wav: "Good bye cruel world"
KAMIKAZE(2).wav: "I must go, my people need me"
KAMIKAZE(3).wav: "TORA TORA TORA"The soundfiles would be randomly picked or cycled.
'(number)' is just an example format. I think by now you understand what I mean.
