  2. I think that water colours other than blue should be re-enabled. The game should detect the names of the folders that are in the Water folder, and use the "Water.dir" file from whichever one is selected.

  3. In most schemes we already know which weapons are available during turns, so this isn't really an important issue.

    There are now however a large number of players playing the Rubberworm scheme "Kaos", it has its own league and community. During a game of Kaos players will collect many weapons from crates, and are able to use as many weapons as they like during their turn. With the inclusion of "real time worms" in 4.0, I feel this feature would be very useful for that too.

  4. After random worm select (implemented in 3.6.29.0), it would be nice to have "Last used worm" as an option for in-game worms order. It should automatically select the worm which ended the previous turn, instead of the next one. Of course, you can always change it pressing TAB. It would be very useful in schemes like RRs, so you don't have to destroy your TAB button to select your moving worm. =)

  5. Add a new standard scheme which randomizes the game settings, but it should be limited to keep the game skillful.

  6. It will be nice to set what do you want to fall in Utility crates , for example , in the classic rubbergame with no weps and lots of crates falling , the Utility "Crateshower" lags a lot and people try to dont collect it.

    Just a menu in ammo menu with % too of what type of utility can appear, for example (10% x2 damage , 5% jetpack , 20% low gravity , etc)

In the same way now you can record an off-line game with comments in the chat box, what if we could add comments to an existing replay file? comments that could be displayed in the chat box as you watch the replay. If it is not something hard to do please consider it, as it'd be extremely useful to teach the strategical side of the game.
    Who wouldn't like to watch a replay of a final after the players added the comments of what they were thinking during each turn?. Moreover, experienced players could check replays of not so experienced…

  8. We know that the wind can go left & right. What if it can blow up & down? Of course this have to be an optional setting in the option menus.

  9. When LOADS of worms are killed in one turn, it can take ages to go through all the animations of the worms dying. Include an option to skip these completely or speed them up. I guess this would be controlled by the host.

  11. Have the "quit the game" option in online matches quit WA. This could discourage ppl from quitting games, unless they really do have to go, in wich case they'd need to quit WA anyway. Also, for the host, there should stay an option to just quit that game, and not WA, since the host may have valid reasons to quit a game, like ie: ppl dropping, desyncing, quitting, having loaded a wrong scheme, or generally all players decide to start a new match.

  12. Invisibility is almost never used in W:A, probably because it's too limited.
    It should be able to last regardless weapon usage. The number of turns -or even round time- it lasts should be configurable.
    A scheme option should set whether players are able to see invisible team members or not.
    Another option could be to let weapons disable opponent invisibility once an invisible worm gets hit.
    Perhaps this way invisibility becomes worthy or fun to be used in games.

    Instead of making it configurable in every conceivable way, how about we agree on some options which would be useful the most? Everyone seems to agree that having the screen follow invisible worms can be bad… what else?

  13. There is a limit for all the flags used on Worms Armageddon and as far as I'm concerned, you don't have a possibility to choose from more than 150 installed flags while creating/modifying any team on WA. I think the same goes to fanfares and soundbanks but only experienced such a limit when speaking of flags. I would like to create myself a grand collection of various flags (mostly national) but I'm not able to since the issue.

  15. Team members should be able to let Spectators participate in team-chat while in a game. Could a chat command do this? So it can be toggled in-game.
    Also, a player should be able to let Spectators see their current weapons panel when it's their turn.

  16. The Steam version of the game and even the accompanying FLAC soundtrack includes the awful quality music from the original PC version, with a sample rate of only 16 kHz! The music from the PS1 version is full CD quality (44.1 kHz) and sounds much better. The .WAV files in the DATA\Streams folder of the Steam version of the game can be replaced with the .WAV files from the PS1 disc image without problems.

    Why not include the higher quality music files with the Steam version?

  17. it isn't a rare thing when two wormers have a row because of positions. "You had better luck, you had better position" etcetc and it mightbe true when 3 of opponent can be sinked and the oppoent doesnt have any. This would be a VERY good option to start a new game from an old replay's position and the two players can change the colors (with the same map/terrarium of course). This would be also a great challenge, when two more skilled player wants to try these positions

    I feel this feature should be integrated with “Allow resuming an on-line match using the replay file”. Part of that feature would involve choosing which frame to start from, and in this case it’d be frame 0. (In the full-featured version of the feature, the difference between this kind of resumption and “secure resumption from a disconnected game at the point of disconnection” would be made obvious to all players before the game started.)

    Having said that, it is possible to do this right now with no modification to W:A (and has been since before the betas). I don’t think I should reveal the method here; if used dishonorably, it could give the host quite an unfair advantage. (In fact, I plan to make it impossible once the resumption feature is implemented.)

There are many game schemes that have grown popular and are well-established among the WA players, yet enacting their rules still remains reiiant on informal agreements made between the players, who need to oversee the match and pay attention to whether everyone follows them or not. Having the game engine support for this would be a great feature to implement, and would make the game even more enjoyable.

  20. Don't know if it's possible to make it so your worms can wear hats into battle. I would love that feature in Armageddon!
