Have the "quit the game" option quit WA.
Have the "quit the game" option in online matches quit WA. This could discourage ppl from quitting games, unless they really do have to go, in wich case they'd need to quit WA anyway. Also, for the host, there should stay an option to just quit that game, and not WA, since the host may have valid reasons to quit a game, like ie: ppl dropping, desyncing, quitting, having loaded a wrong scheme, or generally all players decide to start a new match.
We are thinking about adding a reputation system in W:A 4.0’s WormNET. I’ve written a few ideas here: http://worms2d.info/4/Reputation

Maybe make it when the game is closed via the "quit game" or "alt-f4" methods will return you to the game's main menu instead? making it that tiny bit more annoying for Snooper players to quit/join/quit/join/quit/join etc.

"most "quitters" use snoopers, because they make randomly joining games a lot easier"
Thats wht i meant....
so i think this idea isnt very effective against most of the quitters.....but maybe its effective on "newbies". -
A reliable source told me that most "quitters" use snoopers, because they make randomly joining games a lot easier.

Right. Well, no I don't use snoopers. And I doubt so many ppl use it to join games. Anyway there would be other workarounds. My idea would probably make the casual player think twice before joining/quitting/joining/quitting games. Offcourse there will always be ways to circomvent if you look for it.

This is an interesting idea. Regarding the host, I think it would make more sense to allow the host to end the round (thus forcing everyone to the end-round screen, where the host can change the map, or end the match to change other options, or exit the game back to WormNET).
