  1. Pausing the game

    Along with save/restore game options, this is something always seen in RTS games, specially useful when it is an important match and one of the players has go away for a few minutes.
    What works in the other games I know is:
    *anybody can pause the game
    *anybody can resume the game
    *the number of pauses (and/or the time) you can make in one game is limited.

    Sounds messy, but it just works.

    For worms you would need it to be only possible between turns. Could probably work as an extension of the hot-seat time triggered by a chat command.

  2. Improved Export Log Function

    List of worms (names) of each player, each event contain name of worm

    add info about events:
    - crate (health) collected, crate fallen
    - worm died
    - player is out of the game
    - walking (+time), and jumping

    unify the log format - to make it suitable for program processing - especially info about the winner.
    The end goal of this additions is to create the database of games and the program wich would work with this database and calculate different game statistics

  3. Co-op missions online and lan

    Add missions for 2-4 players and that they will be available in online and lan, or if there will be mission editor/creator for WA, allow it that you can build missions for 2-4 players and give then play with them in online and lan.

  4. Red Girder

    Can you make red the girder when it is too far away from the worm?
    "Color alert" would save precious time to position girder!

  5. Sudden death with keeping worm selecting option

    Two alternative features:
    1. having sudden death with worm selecting option being kept
    or
    2. water rising without going into sudden death.

    <infinite Worm Selects (the weapon) is not a solution because they can be used many times in one turn and this would change the gameplay too much>

  7. User missions

    This obviously already exists in the worms coding, otherwise there wouldn't be official missions. What would be great now is giving us the option to create missions like those. Besides the fun of it, imagine that it could be great as a teaching tool.
    Consider making it possible to use .png files.

  8. MultiHealing & SingleHealing

    I would like this as a scheme option.

    MultiHealing (default and used now) : When a worm collects a healthy crate , all the sicked worms of same team get Cured.

    Single Healing : Only the worm that collects the healthy crate get cured.

  9. Much more complex maps

    Sometimes i just wish there would be a little more going on in the maps...
    What if the game would support a new file format in which these maps would be?
    So, you would just make/import and play them.

    I was thinking about the following:
    -Destructible, non-desctructible terrain, i just think this could open some new ideas.

    -Animated terrain. For ex. elevators or any other animation. This would bring more life to maps, would further open ideas for custom maps and would make it more fun the 'future real time feature...'

    -Terrain that kills the worms, for example spikes...

    -Transparency,…

  10. Allow bigger graves, and other file formats - .png .jpg etc

    Allow animated GIF's too. That would be good.

  11. Re-enable other water colours

    I think that water colours other than blue should be re-enabled. The game should detect the names of the folders that are in the Water folder, and use the "Water.dir" file from whichever one is selected.

  12. Allow the weapon box to remain visible during turns, and whilst scrolling around the map.

    In most schemes we already know which weapons are available during turns, so this isn't really an important issue.

    There are now however a large number of players playing the Rubberworm scheme "Kaos", it has its own league and community. During a game of Kaos players will collect many weapons from crates, and are able to use as many weapons as they like during their turn. With the inclusion of "real time worms" in 4.0, I feel this feature would be very useful for that too.

  13. "Last used worm" option

    After random worm select (implemented in 3.6.29.0), it would be nice to have "Last used worm" as an option for in-game worms order. It should automatically select the worm which ended the previous turn, instead of the next one. Of course, you can always change it pressing TAB. It would be very useful in schemes like RRs, so you don't have to destroy your TAB button to select your moving worm. =)

  14. Implement a new 'random' scheme

    Add a new standard scheme which randomizes the game settings, but it should be limited to keep the game skillful.

  15. Be able to change what a utility crate can have.

    It will be nice to set what do you want to fall in Utility crates , for example , in the classic rubbergame with no weps and lots of crates falling , the Utility "Crateshower" lags a lot and people try to dont collect it.

    Just a menu in ammo menu with % too of what type of utility can appear, for example (10% x2 damage , 5% jetpack , 20% low gravity , etc)

  16. Possibility to add comments in a replay

    In the same way now you can record an off-line game with comments in the chat box, what if we could add comments to an existing replay file? comments that could be displayed in the chat box as you watch the replay. If it is not something hard to do please consider it, as it'd be extremely useful to teach the strategical side of the game.
    Who wouldn't like to watch a replay of a final after the players added the comments of what they were thinking during each turn?. Moreover, experienced players could check replays of not so experienced…

  17. Up & Down Wind

    We know that the wind can go left & right. What if it can blow up & down? Of course this have to be an optional setting in the option menus.

  18. Option to skip worms Deaths Animations

    When LOADS of worms are killed in one turn, it can take ages to go through all the animations of the worms dying. Include an option to skip these completely or speed them up. I guess this would be controlled by the host.

  19. Make Invisibility more customisable

    Invisibility is almost never used in W:A, probably because it's too limited.
    It should be able to last regardless weapon usage. The number of turns -or even round time- it lasts should be configurable.
    A scheme option should set whether players are able to see invisible team members or not.
    Another option could be to let weapons disable opponent invisibility once an invisible worm gets hit.
    Perhaps this way invisibility becomes worthy or fun to be used in games.

    Instead of making it configurable in every conceivable way, how about we agree on some options which would be useful the most? Everyone seems to agree that having the screen follow invisible worms can be bad… what else?

  20. Enlarge flag/fanfare/soundbank limit on team options

    There is a limit for all the flags used on Worms Armageddon and as far as I'm concerned, you don't have a possibility to choose from more than 150 installed flags while creating/modifying any team on WA. I think the same goes to fanfares and soundbanks but only experienced such a limit when speaking of flags. I would like to create myself a grand collection of various flags (mostly national) but I'm not able to since the issue.
