Plenty of things that could be added as optional scheme settings.

    Worms 2:
    *Exploding Graves
    *Reactivating Dud Mines
    *Exclusive weapons
    --Homing Cluster Bomb
    --Homing Air Strike
    --Cloned Sheep

    Worms World Party:
*Fort mode with team specific forts loaded map.
*Placed Mines don't explode on the team that placed them.
*Wormpot's that cant be recreated manually
--High Damage/Extra Powered Reel (Goes beyond manual settings)
--Super Rope Reel (Doubles rope length)
--Specialist Worm mode (Every three worms is a specialist and cant use anything else)
    --No retreat time (Removes Surrender)
--Double strength health crates (Goes beyond manual settings)
--Wind effects most weapons (Self explanatory)
--Energy or Enemy (Worms are poisoned and the damage ticks multiply each turn)
    --Slippy mode (Slide more)
    --Sticky mode (Slide less)
--Stay away from the edge (Earthquake every turn)
--Falling really hurts, be careful out there (Increases fall damage)
--On the Moon mode (Low gravity)
--David and Goliath mode (First on each team eats half the hp the rest and adds it to its own)
--No weapons, crates only (Crate Shower always enabled)
--Double damage mode (Goes beyond manual settings)
--Crates, crates and even more crates (Crate shower always enabled)
--Using a weapon doesn't end your turn (Self explanatory)
--Everything you wanted to know about the contents of that crate (Crate spy always enabled)
    --Twice the clusters (Self explanatory)

Its a impossibility, Project X has been inactive for some time, The source is closed off so everything would have to be remade from scratch since it does not support newer versions of the Armageddon

I don’t feel that adding hard-coded gameplay mechanics elements, such as weapons, is part of our goal. This might happen when support for custom weapons (a-la Fiddler) will be added.

I don't see the harm in adding new weapons, After all, Weapons are entirely controlled by schemes, Players will always have the ability to disable whatever weapon they please so its not like its interrupting veterans.
