How can we improve HostingBuddy?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Allow HostingBuddy to use WSDB and Kick ability.

    I would like that HostingBuddy could host games by tiping

    !host wsdb xxx

    xxx would be the number of scheme

    In-game i would like that the host could kick people by tiping !kick x , as with Cinus Kick.

    First of all, this is two ideas instead of one. WSDB schemes don’t have any metadata, such as names. HostingBuddy won’t know how to name the game, and calling it “wowwow’s WSDB xxxx” is ridiculous. Use the host “game name” command to set a custom title, then use !wsdb ingame. A kick command will not be added.

  2. Allow wider map support

    I made these maps:
    http://www.wmdb.org/20484
    http://www.wmdb.org/19930
    They are special, because they have data after IEND chunk (.rar archive actually), and HostingBuddy doesn't load them because of this (while everyone can host them). Why does it work so? Can maps like these load viruses through the game?
