Customizable front-end resolution
I'm going to suggest this hoping the answer won't be '4.0'. The swith to low-res in the WA front-end messes up many things:
- icons get rearranged, Vista sidebar & gadgets get messed up
- Dual screen: i can have video playback on my 2nd screen without a problem while ingame, but once in front-end I see only a 3rd of the video playing while 2/3 is my 1st desktop in (16) colours. Also, what would be amazing is true Dual-Screen support, meaning if I move the mouse holding sumtn like Alt, I could move the mousepointer off the 1st…
1 voteThe answer is “4.0”. There is no way around this.
Dual/triple/etc. screen support will come with windowed mode (you’ll be able to open several windows and put them wherever you want).

make to wa encryption packets like in wwp
i think u can use wwp secure server for wa to make it more secure
because in wwp for connect u need hash and only true game can get it
and the list of games encrypted too
i think u should get from T17 the source code of wwp and take from the game the encryption and decryption algorithm1 voteAbsurd technobabble. This will only prevent snoopers, and not for long.

Comletely update ALL the graphics
Upate all of the graphics - in the lobby, in game, and main screens
1 voteSure, I’ll just wave my magic graphic-updating wand. Seriously, we’re no artists – who’s going to draw everything? If you want new graphics, check out the newer Worms games.

Local option to remove waves
Ability in local options menu to remove waves. Not a map option which would affect other players, just a local setting. Would help players see those bits of land close to the water, and probably help visibility in ropers with water-drops. I raise my maps floor up a bit because I hate not being able to see the floor, the low plops and the mines hidden behind the waves.

New Quick game features
Firstly, a Quick game must be really quick. There is a need to reduce the Round time (to 15 or even 10 minutes).
Secondly, players must have an option adding more opponents! 3 or more computers instead of 1.
Many players want to show their abilities offline. That is an opportunity! They would destroy even three comps quickly. They would achieve many points for it (if they could beat their opponent).
After pressing the Quick game button a window appears. There will be three buttons: 1. The player vs 1 comp;
2. The player vs 2 comps;
3. The player…0 votesThings like these are not subject to change. Use the offline multiplayer screen to customize CPU battles, or Deathmatch to get increasingly more difficult matches against the CPU.

Minimize in other way(s)
I know, we can minimize by press ESC and Minimize game. But whats then, if the game crashes (cant see anything)? Then i must restart my CPU. Maybe add CTRL+ALT+DEL, Left ALT+SPACE, Left CTRL+ESC?
Thanks1 voteWe already have Shift+Escape.

Right click menu / Ignore
In wormnet, it would be cool a right click menu and ignore / unignore (ignore for forever) :) thanks , GodiTo
1 voteThis is already implemented. Type /ignore to ignore someone, or Ctrl+Doubleclick their nickname in the player list.

Set the tab key to home in on your team's worms
It would be handy to know which worm on your team is to move next, both during and while waiting for a turn.
The tab key is currently assigned to home in on worms on your team while using the worm select utility. The tab key could function like this as default, without having worm select on, and without the ability to select which of your worms moves next.
1 voteDeclined for FFie’s reason.

option to change the flag shown next to you at wormnet
If it is not something complex, it will surely make new people happier, since nowadays not everybody knows how to do that through windows configuration.
1 voteThis seems really pointless. The Windows setting should be correct most of the time (unless you reinstall using some kind of OEM installation) because Windows asks for your location when installing or activating.

Zooming during gameplay
Zooming would means that you can fully increase/decrease the screen. Its not the resultion. Zooming would be good, for example when an armageddon starts and you want to see the whole map during destroying
3 votesThis is not possible with the current rendering engine (DirectDraw palletted display). This will be possible once 4.0 will switch to OpenGL.

Add 32bit graphics support
if you added 32 bits graphics feature (directX/openGL) then it would be possible to run the game in windowed mode, or add more special graphics effects.
1 votePart of the 4.0 design, not happening before then.

Switch direction while on rope
This idea is to allow the option to switch the way your facing while suspended on rope. It would make firing off cows or sheep a lot easier when your running low on time, especially in shoppers.
4 votesChanging established gameplay mechanics is not our goal.

Full colour higher resolution frontend
Update the frontend so it can be created using full colour. Lets us fans have our fun with creating a GUI that's not painfully restricted by palettes few have ever figured out.
5 votesIt’s part of the 4.0 design, and don’t expect an UI rewrite before then.

Add .ogg support and auto-download for Soundbanks
Add .ogg file format support for soundbanks (will make them really small) and for the .ogg soundbanks auto-download for other players so they can hear them.
7 votesNot before 4.0.

Use some kind of mirroring to allow WKB to be used in WN
I know that Wikis currently won't work with W:A's built-in ServerList browser because of some reason with W:A not liking the scripts or something (I can't remember what exactly), but how about having a mirror that mirrors the wiki and converts the pages into ordinary HTML? This would get updated every day or something.
Alternatively, do a big overhaul on the W:A browser to allow browsing of WKB, but that would be harder.
This is a natural progression from the denial of the Wormapoedia feature.
1 voteOkay, if you write a MediaWiki renderer plugin that outputs code that W:A’s browser can understand.
Seriously though, W:A’s HTML renderer only supports a handful of tags, and even those aren’t trying to adhere to any kind of specifications. We’d be better off calling it WAML, and changing anything about it is way too much effort for what the feature’s worth.
We could add a way to make links clicking on which minimizes the game and opens them in a real web browser.

WA to remember last played map in an online/lan game.
When you join someone's game and the host selects the map, that map is temporarily 'saved'. That map is then automatically loaded when you start a "New Singleplayer-Multiplayer" game, however if instead you load a new LAN or Internet game, the map is lost and the default landscape is rendered instead.
I suggest WA should remember the last played map when starting both Online and Offline games, not just Offline.
3 votesThis is done on purpose. Most of the time, you won’t want to replay on the same map as the last game, and sometimes the map is simply inappropriate (for the wrong scheme or audience). A map-maker could accidentally leak out an unfinished version of his map, which he’d rather leave under wraps until it was completed. Thus, I’d rather leave the current behavior as it is.

add a Wormopaedia (like in WWP)
Adding a short description of each weapon would be useful for beginners.
1 voteThe Worms Knowledge Base is just for this purpose. There’s also the game manual, which is linked to from the ReadMe. Besides, it’s fun to figure out what each weapon does on your own (except some unobvious ones, like the bungee or re-swinging the ninja rope, but again, the manual).

Mission creator
A fully functional editor that would allow us to create mission with the degree of customization we can see in the missions that come with the game.
4 votesOnce support for user-made missions will be added to W:A, this is the kind of project which can be done by a 3rd-party (someone from the W:A community), as it doesn’t require much knowledge of the W:A internals (the mission file format is pretty simple, and may be documented when user-made mission support is added).
