Allow resuming an on-line match using the replay file
Network disconnects or real-life reasons shouldn't mean that the match can't be completed. There should be a way to resume a game with the same players using the replay file.

Extract a part of a replay as a mini replay
For example I want to report a bug to Team17: I need to search when the part that I want happens and say to people start from that time (X minutes). Or if i want to upload a trick for WKB: I need to do the trick again in the beginning of a new match and quit the match to do a short replay with only the trick, without unnecessery parts and with a light file.
This takes more time and patience to do. Extracting a replay part as a small replay would be much more easier to show to…

Improved Export Log Function
List of worms (names) of each player, each event contain name of worm
add info about events:
- crate (health) collected, crate fallen
- worm died
- player is out of the game
- walking (+time), and jumpingunify the log format - to make it suitable for program processing - especially info about the winner.
The end goal of this additions is to create the database of games and the program wich would work with this database and calculate different game statistics9 votes -
Start a game from a position of replay
it isn't a rare thing when two wormers have a row because of positions. "You had better luck, you had better position" etcetc and it mightbe true when 3 of opponent can be sinked and the oppoent doesnt have any. This would be a VERY good option to start a new game from an old replay's position and the two players can change the colors (with the same map/terrarium of course). This would be also a great challenge, when two more skilled player wants to try these positions

I feel this feature should be integrated with “Allow resuming an on-line match using the replay file”. Part of that feature would involve choosing which frame to start from, and in this case it’d be frame 0. (In the full-featured version of the feature, the difference between this kind of resumption and “secure resumption from a disconnected game at the point of disconnection” would be made obvious to all players before the game started.)
Having said that, it is possible to do this right now with no modification to W:A (and has been since before the betas). I don’t think I should reveal the method here; if used dishonorably, it could give the host quite an unfair advantage. (In fact, I plan to make it impossible once the resumption feature is implemented.)

Possibility to add comments in a replay
In the same way now you can record an off-line game with comments in the chat box, what if we could add comments to an existing replay file? comments that could be displayed in the chat box as you watch the replay. If it is not something hard to do please consider it, as it'd be extremely useful to teach the strategical side of the game.
Who wouldn't like to watch a replay of a final after the players added the comments of what they were thinking during each turn?. Moreover, experienced players could check replays of not so experienced…7 votes -
Display pressed keys in replay
It'd be neat if a game replay could display live what keys were being pressed, as they were pressed (via graphic or maybe a subsection of the chat pane). It could be instructive for people trying to learn to rope, could make it more obvious when people are using macros, or just interesting to see how people do things.

Add the used scheme to name of replay
Put the host's scheme name into name of the replay, so the replay file would look like "2008-12-20 00.48.27 [Online] [BnG] NogardDerNaerok, Javi-2, @Konar6.WAgame" or "2008-12-22 01.14.16 [Online] [Team17] Snoots, @Konar6.WAgame".
5 votesThe scheme name isn’t currently being transmitted over the network at the moment, so this would only be possible for games which you hosted.

Implement the ability to save and continue matches that require more than one victory.
In case some schemes, this could be handy, because it would remember not only the victories so far, but the collected crates and used weapons as well.
Adding a button for this would likely to be problematic, so it could be done using a chat command like "/save" which would save the match using a default name - ie. timestamp, players, etc. - or "/save filename" to name it something else.
The saved match would contain:
- The scheme file - this might be no problem at all.
- The players' names - this could be done by a list,…5 votes -
Allow playback at... times to be encoded into the replay
So, rather than having to put the playback at... times in the filename and the user has to remember to input them (or a parser written), there would be an external app that allows you to add the playback time to it, then when you or someone else double-clicks the replay, it would pop up a window saying "Do you want to go to the pre-defined playback point?", then if you press yes, it will take you there.

Queue log extracts on multiple replay files
I often find myself needing to extract logs from dozens of replays. Doing it one-by-one is tedious, and doing them simultaneously usually causes some log extracts to fail. Would it be possible to "queue" the extracts so that if I click "Export log" on multiple replay files, it does it one by one?

export replay sound
It would be extremely useful to have some sort of sound output when exporting frames from a replay with /getvideo.
Currently the only way is to record gameplay sounds and then hope that syncs up with the frame output.
Exporting the frames is unaffected by lag but this method of capturing sound is not. It will record the extra silence, thus throwing the sync completely off.
Despite this issue /getvideo is still arguably the best way to record W:A, at least to get the video output.
Exporting sound would complete the feature and make it easy to have frame perfect…

Toggling automatic save of replays / logs
The user should be able to select wether he wants to...
- automatically save replays and log files
- never save replays and log file
- get prompted to save replays or log files (possibly after the end of a match).2 votes -
Skip to previous turn
I like the "Pressing Space during the playback of a recorded game will now skip to the beginning of the next turn"
I was thinking Shift+Space could be used to skip to the beginning of the previous turn.

Create/View replay playlists
Create replay playlist files or something like that which lets you play several replays at specific times in succession, eg:
File1 5.12-6.27
File2 17.01-17.30
File2 21.13-22.41
File3.... etc.1 vote -
Rewinding ("<<")
A rewind button ("<<") would be wonderful! If there is already FF (Fast Forward) buttons, why not Rewind buttons? You would go back to the part that you liked without remembering the time to start the replay from there, or open the playback again and Fast Forward to the right moment or press M and R to go back again.
