  1. For instance "Intermediate without sudden death" (maybe with a more catchy name). If you create that kind of scheme yourself, it's named as "User defined" (when hosting with HostingBuddy), which often scares away joining players and which altogether is inconvenient, even if in future there'll be a better "summary" of the scheme in the lobby.

    It'd be very helpful to have much more default schemes for normal type games especially! Variations of Intermediate and Elite. One of the best things about WA is the versatility of it, it's dumb to limit it by sticking to the old schemes.

  2. For example I want to report a bug to Team17: I need to search when the part that I want happens and say to people start from that time (X minutes). Or if i want to upload a trick for WKB: I need to do the trick again in the beginning of a new match and quit the match to do a short replay with only the trick, without unnecessery parts and with a light file.

    This takes more time and patience to do. Extracting a replay part as a small replay would be much more easier to show to…

  3. I think that a hotkey to switch between ingame files to play in a game would be cool.

    Sometimes we prefer a texture for a concrete scheme (like fruits for elite) , but we like a particular backround music , even we could put the title music or the stats one.

    It would also be cool to be able to mute the backround music , but no the effects (walk , speeches , booms , etc). So we could play with our music player any music file as backround music.

  4. Currently, when your turn starts you can see the active worm's health as long as you don't move/choose weapons/etc. If you do something the health bar will vanish and it'll come back if you wait still about 10 seconds. I sometimes forget how much health the particular worm has, it'd be useful if it was shown somewhere during the turn, maybe in the bottom right corner of the screen? Or it could be shown by pressing a key?

  5. Sometimes i just wish there would be a little more going on in the maps...
    What if the game would support a new file format in which these maps would be?
    So, you would just make/import and play them.

    I was thinking about the following:
    -Destructible, non-desctructible terrain, i just think this could open some new ideas.

    -Animated terrain. For ex. elevators or any other animation. This would bring more life to maps, would further open ideas for custom maps and would make it more fun the 'future real time feature...'

    -Terrain that kills the worms, for example spikes...

    -Transparency,…

  8. I would like to be able to skip/surrender after have shot a weapon , if you have 10 secs of retreat and you dont need to move , its annoying to have to wait :P

  11. Network disconnects or real-life reasons shouldn't mean that the match can't be completed. There should be a way to resume a game with the same players using the replay file.

  12. A rewind button ("<<") would be wonderful! If there is already FF (Fast Forward) buttons, why not Rewind buttons? You would go back to the part that you liked without remembering the time to start the replay from there, or open the playback again and Fast Forward to the right moment or press M and R to go back again.

  14. Downloading the same large map file(more than 500k or maybe 1mb)again and again its preety anoying....how about a map recognising metod??,so you dont have to download the same map twice (maybe comparing the dimensions and the size of the local maps with the host map,so it doesnt matter the name of the file)

  15. In wormnet lobby when a user joins a game it says: "user has joined game". It does not say what game he has joined.

    I sometimes see a user I like has just joined a game, than I have to guess what game they went into.

  16. The user should be able to select wether he wants to...
    - automatically save replays and log files
    - never save replays and log file
    - get prompted to save replays or log files (possibly after the end of a match).

  18. To make the gameplay more rapid, I suggest a feature: when a turn ends, the following happens: worm say "uuups", or "you missed" or somebody die: animation happens. Then next turn takes place. What if these animations would be turned off between turns? It would rapid the gameplay, and normalers wont get bored of that!

    This is a complicated question. We intend to add this for 4.0, however this is complicated by that it’d be too easy to annoy people with custom soundbanks -therefore they must be easily mute-able.

  20. it would be good that you could shoot only when you touched a wall (for wxw) or picked up a crate (shopper/roper). you could even make the walls react when touched.
